China Leather Association (CLA), Clariant and Lvbeiyang scholarship award ceremony was held at Room 342 of Administrative Buildingon Dec. 17. Shu-Hua Zhang, president of CLA, Yong-Chang Yu, president of Leather industry association in Shandong province, Yan Li, manger of Clariant, You-Bo Zhou, secretary of discipline inspection commission presented the ceremony. Zhi-Ye Zhang, Party secretary of School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering conducted the meeting and the students from leather major attended.
    Firstly, the participating leaders read off the names of the students who have got scholarships and gave the certificates of honor. Yan Li congratulated the students and hopes that they would be ambitious and study with a clear idea. Li expect the students to create wealth for the society, bring happiness to others and be the best themselves.
    Zhou gave his thanks to the participating leaders and introduced the development of our university. He said the cooperation between school and companies should be developed further，especially in talent training, technological exchanges and research to improve the leather industry. He encouraged the students to study hard to make contribution to the society.
 CLA and Clariant have awarded over 100,000 Yuan to more than 100 students. Lvbeiyang Scholarship was awarded for the first time in Qilu University of Technology.
