Educational Objectives:

The aim is to train highly specialized personnel with basic theories and skills of safety science and technology, especially knowing well the chemical engineering safety, and the ability of safety supervision and management. The graduate is qualified in safety design, scientific research, security detection, safety evaluation, education and training, and business management.

Educational Requirement:

Students of this major mainly learn basic theories and skills of safety engineering, environmental assessment, and industrial health. They should master professional knowledge of chemical process and equipment, and have been trained on chemical engineering safety, engineering practice, computer application, scientific research and engineering design methods. They have the ability on safety technology management, accident analysis, disaster prevention and control, environmental assessment, and solving practical problems in industrial process.
