The 1st Handcraft Competition, named “Turn Waste into Wealth”, was held by School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering at Library lecture room on Dec. 5. A total of 27 handcrafts from 14 teams participated in the competition.
A garbage can named “Greedy Zebra” made by the team from School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering surprises everyone for its innovation and exquisite mechanism. Students from School of Arts made some fashion dresses by wasted fabrics. There are not only the presentations of the handicrafts but also performance of music and dance.
Finally, School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering got the first prize of Group Award. School of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Information and School of Foreign Languages got the second prize of Group Award. The handcrafts “Greedy Zebra” and “Chinese Chess” won the champions.
