“Study in Saimaa University of Applied Sciences in Finland Exchange Meeting” was held at Administrative Building lecture room. More than 300 students attended the meeting. 
During the meeting, Qian-Qian Gao, Wen-Juan Cui, Cui-Zhu Yin, Sheng-Shuo Cao, Xue-Ting Wang and Yuan-Yuan Li introduced the teaching arrangement, curriculum, bachelor’s thesis, learning conditions, local conditions and customs in Saimaa University of Applied Sciences. All of them emphasized the importance of English and gave some suggestions to the students who want to study abroad. Yang-Ye Zhang, who was graduated from School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering and now studies in University of Miami, gave his advices in study abroad.
    Seven students from School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering were sent to Saimaa University of Applied Sciences and five of them will study for master degree in Saimaa University of Applied Sciences. According to the agreement signed by Qilu University of Technologies and Saimaa University of Applied Sciences in 2011, School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering send some outstanding students to study in Saimaa University of Applied Sciences for one year and the students will get both degrees. The seven students were supported by International Exchange Scholarship awarded by Shandong High-speed Group. The cooperation with Saimaa University of Applied Sciences improved the internationalization and international talent training mechanism. Furthermore，it plays a positive role in reform in education and talent cultivation mechanism. School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering will establish an international chemical engineering class to push the development of international education.
    Youth League Committee (YLC) in School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering will organize some reports or communication on the Internet and establish BBS with the topic of international exchange. YLC is responsible for the selection of the outstanding students to participate in the international exchange and establishment of the international class. YLC hopes to form an effective system of international exchange students including propaganda, selection, organization and education.
